Non NHS Services

Private Work Fees

The National Health Service provides health care to most people free of charge, but it is government policy that the public has to pay privately for certain health services and they will not fund your GP practice to provide these for you free of charge. These services include things such as medical reports for insurance purposes, occupational health examinations, private blood tests and travel vaccinations and prescriptions.

The money you pay us will be used to pay for staff time so that we can do the private work without it affecting our NHS work. The cost of these services includes nurse and doctor time and any administrative work required.

If you wish to book an appointment for any of the services provided privately by the practice, we ask that you provide in advance any paperwork that requires completion and pay the necessary fees when you book the appointment.

Please note that as these are private services. If you cannot attend your appointment you must cancel at least 24 hours in advance or the full fee will be charged for the missed appointment.

Please ask at reception if you require any further information on the private medical services we provide and for all updated fees.
