In the past we have had a Patient Participation Group that met on a regular basis to discuss healthcare issues which affected patients and to exchange information with the practice team.
However, we had difficulties in making this inclusive of all our patients, and contact with young families, teenagers and 'well' patients who were not attending the surgery was difficult.
A number of patients are now using the e-mail facility to order prescriptions, and we wondered if we could expand this to use it as a means of communicating with our patients.
We would hope to ask opinions on new proposals for how we work, gauge your response to healthcare policy changes which affect us and get feedback from you on the things you would like as a patient of the practice.
