We would like to advise our patients of the situation this year with FLU VACCINATIONS.

All our vaccinations are being supplied in batches and we are unlikely to have the numbers we need until the end of October. Because of this we have been unable to fix a date for our flu clinic, but we expect it to be early in November.

For this reason you will not receive your Flu Invite letter until late October, so we would ask that you did not phone the surgery in the meantime as we will be unable to give you a date for the flu clinic until it becomes clearer when our vaccinations will arrive.

Thank you for your patience.

The Doctors at Grantown Medical Practice

Training Afternoons

We are closed from 1pm on the dates below for Staff Training. Patients requiring medical help should contact NHS 24 on their national number - 111.

Wednesday 14th November 2018

Out-of-hours (18:00 - 08:00 Mon – Fri, weekends and some bank holidays) there is always a doctor on call for emergencies.

Please call NHS 24 free on their national number - 111 where a trained nurse will assess your requirements and contact a GP, ambulance, or other health care professional as required.

If you phone the surgery number 01479 872484 your call will automatically transfer to NHS 24 but you will be charged for the call.

The out-of-hours doctor is based at a Primary Care Emergency Centre in Aviemore. This is staffed by local GP's, so if you need to see a doctor when the surgery is closed, it will usually be a GP from Grantown, Aviemore, Kingussie or Laggan, who has knowledge of the local area.

NHS 24 Telephone – 111
